As a Veteran and travel nurse, we moved often with our eldest son. Moving coast to coast and everywhere in between, we decided to visit AVL for the weekend, and then took a travel assignment for the upcoming fall. We fell in love with mountains & their greenery, their waterfalls and wildflowers, the fall foliage and the incredible community and decided to raise our family here. Our son, 3 at the time, called this new house “The Green House”, as all our homes were adorably named by their colors. After building a hobby farm with pups, cats, ducks, goats and two more kids, we officially grew out of our green house. With all the beautiful memories and hard work put in, we weren’t ready to say goodbye to our family home. Hence why we are so excited to share it with all of you. A piece of our heart to hold on to and to share —- because we feel everyone deserves to enjoy the beauty we’ve built here. We can’t wait for you to make more memories and add to its history here.
