Our "Shah Jahan's Asia" room is great for any couple with a newborn who needs a crib (or not). The room has an incredibly comfortable queen size bed and sits next to our common space filled with books, board games, and our yoga-friendly deck. Best of all, there is a cozy reading room for the family to dim the lights and read night-time stories.
Guests will have access to two floors. You will enter from our first-floor garage and take one set of steps up to your room on the left. Our Prussian Prince room is on the first floor, separate from our Africa and Asia-themed rooms on the second floor, which are on the same floor as the bathroom, common room, deck, and our dorm-style kitchen with a mini-fridge, microwave, and kettle.
You may very likely have the whole place to yourself (and get the best deal in town!). If more than one party books, some spaces may be shared, including the common room and bathroom that separate both bedrooms on the second floor. For this reason, we have a security camera in the common room by request from past guests who want to be social, but secure. Feel free to ask us if other parties are present before your booking. You may also book the whole house by choosing its appropriate listing on my profile.

Naturally, most of our neighbors are very active cyclists, trail runners, and hikers who love their peace and quiet. If you're looking for a party, this isn't your cup of tea. If you want a quiet stay just outside the city, welcome to the woods!
We are a 5-minute drive to some of the nicest trails in Portland and 10 minutes away from its farms. Nike, Intel, and other corporate campuses are ~15 minutes away. Downtown Portland is just under 8 miles away!
