The 1892 Old Schoolhouse has been in our family for nearly a century. Recently updated and renovated we now offer a chic, roomy cottage that offers a welcoming country stay with uninterrupted views of the Gap of Dunloe and the MacGillycuddy Reeks. In 15 minutes you can be in the bustling centre of Killarney. The best of Kerry is right at your fingertips as we are located just outside the Ring of Kerry and on the way to the Dingle Peninsula. Ideal for hiking, golf, nature & sightseeing.

There are 2 floors in The Schoolhouse.
The house is light, bright & spacious . The high- quality beds will give you a wonderful nights sleep and ensure you are well rested to fully enhance your stay.
Downstairs you will find a fully equipped kitchen and dining table to seat 6. The kitchen is connected to the living area which is made for relaxing. Completely separate to this is the office/den/playroom which has a workspace for those who need to log on and do some work during their stay and a pull out daybed that can sleep an additional 2 guests.
Upstairs we have 3 bedrooms.
The super king room with 4 poster bed looks out on The McGillycuddys Reeks and the The Gap of Dunloe in all her splendour on a clear day.
Bedroom 2 provides a spacious Kingsize bed.
Bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds.
We can also provide a travel cot for smaller guests.
There is 1 bathroom upstairs with walk - in electric shower.

We are located a short drive from Killarney town. Ideally situated just off the Ring of Kerry and on route to the Dingle Peninsula. We are the ideal base for golfing, hiking and exploring the area. Views of Carrauntuohill and MacGillycuddys Reeks from the property. Within 10 minutes you can be at The Gap of Dunloe. Killarney National Park is on our doorstep and within a short drive to Ross Castle, Muckross House & Torc Waterfall. If you would like a base for touring or just want to relax in the countryside but with easy access to Killarney, Tralee and many other nearby towns. We are a short 10 minute drive from Kerry Airport.
