Shopping Center located half a mile away with a Food Lion and various shops and restaurants. 10-minute drive to the bars, restaurants, and fishing charters of downtown Morehead City and 15-minute drive to historic downtown Beaufort.

The house is a 2 minute walk to the beach. There is no public parking nearby, so no crowds or fighting for a spot in the sand. Half a mile from Food Lion for easy grocery runs, and 10 minutes will get you to downtown Morehead City for amazing seafood, fishing charters, island tours, and night life.
Entire guest apartment (3rd floor) is available for guest use with private access via outdoor deck. Beach gear underneath the house is available for guest use. You can also use the red hose underneath the house to rinse off after the beach.
Our 3 year old Great Dane lives downstairs with us and has has access to the 2nd floor deck and stairs used to access the guest apartment on the 3rd floor. He is friendly and loves meeting new people, but please be aware, especially if there are elderly guests, very young children, or non-dog people in your group.

We love living in this neighborhood because it's so peaceful and quiet, while being so close to all the fun that Coastal NC has to offer! Of course, the main attraction is the beach which is an easy 2-minute walk away, but there are plenty of bars, restaurants, fishing charters, ferries, shopping and sightseeing, all within a 10-minute drive!
Beach is a 2 minute walk away, no driving required! Plenty of shopping and restaurants within a 5-10 minute drive and parking is almost never an issue. Uber is always an option if you don't feel like driving yourself.
