Relax and unwind at our stunning dog friendly Devon cottage. Sympathetically restored to a high standard, it is situated in the heart of beautiful Kilmington Village with two pubs in walking distance. A fantastic award winning farm shop and convenience store are less than a ten minute stroll. The stunning beach resorts of Lyme Regis, Beer and the Jurassic coast are a ten minute drive. The wonderful market town of Axminster is a five minute drive with direct rail services to London Waterloo.
The space
There is a lovely open plan lounge with a wood effect log burner, dining area and a fully fitted kitchen. Comprising of a double oven, kettle, toaster, microwave everything you'll need for your stay. This flows through to the utility room with a freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer. Next to this is the conservatory which is a great place for boots and wet clothes to dry, store bikes and to clean your hound if needed.
There are 2 bedrooms, the master has a large ensuite. This room has stunning views to the hills and countryside beyond. There is one twin bedroom plus a family bathroom with separate bath and walk in shower. Both bedrooms have wardrobes with plenty of hanging space. There is a chest of drawers in the master with a hairdryer and safe as well.
The garden is a great size and fully enclosed. The patio is west facing and there is plenty of room to sit and eat al fresco or enjoy a glass of wine. Loungers are provided for total relaxation.
For the business traveller you have the use of a printer (WIFI enabled plus cable if required), paper, pads, pens / pencils, stapler, an assortment of USB connector leads, a Cat 8 Ethernet cable and a fast reliable wifi network. There is a lockable safe on the premises for your valuables.
There is a welcome pack on your arrival which includes tea, coffee, hot chocolate, milk, biscuits, crisps and a bottle of red wine to get your holiday started.
Guest access
The cottage has private driveway parking. We offer self check in by keypad for your convenience. There is also side access to the Cottage and garden via the side of the house.
The village is easy to walk round and there is a regular bus service a few minutes walk away. There is a mainline station in Axminster (5 minute drive) with direct services to Salisbury, Exeter and London Waterloo.
Other things to note
There are books and games for all the family and buckets, spades, boogie boards, folding chairs, beach mats, a parasol and more for your trips to the beach.
The lounge and the main bedroom have flat screen smart TV's with Now TV full Sky Sports package, Netflix, Apple TV and Amazon. There is a built in sound system wired into the cottage. Axe Valley wildlife park is also just a couple of minutes drive away.

Getting around
The cottage dates back to 1900 and is situated in a lovely quiet location whilst having easy access from the A35 / A303 (10 minutes drive). There is a bus stop nearby and excellent rail links to London (under 2 hours) and the Midlands from Axminster (5 minutes drive from the cottage).
