Dear fellow explorer & traveller,
I have been to Curacao in March 2022 and made sure the house is in top condition. Please also be advised that there is no construction site nearby anymore - phew....
Let me walk you through the house:
Located in tropical Royal Palm Resort with so many palm trees and colourful flowers, not far away from the spacious community pool, you find our 2 story house with balcony and garden.
On the ground floor you will have a spacious living room adjacent to an open kitchen (brand new with fridge/freezer combo, dishwasher, and other appliances).
From both living room and kitchen you have access to the beautiful terrace with sea view - and the wooden deck where you'll find an amazing outside BBQ, partially shaded by a beautiful mango tree and with a nice view on the sea! Other than that the terrace features a comfortable table for 6 and a self-made lounge furniture to relax and read in the shade.
Accessible from the terrace is also a little chamber with the washing machine.
If you go back inside and towards the dark wooden stairs, you'll find the guest toilet and another chamber (incl. hover/vacuum cleaner, iron, etc.)
On the upstairs floor you'll find 2 1/2 bed rooms, 2 bathrooms and a chamber/walk in wardrobe.
The room to the right is the master bed room with a 2m wide bed, a flat screen tv and ensuite bathroom.
The room in the middle is the so-called guest room: it has a cute little desk and now since 2022 a custom made single bed (90 x 200), so in case you got some work to do, you might want to use it a s a litte office space.
To the left you have the 2nd proper bed room with a queen sized 1,60m wide double bed and access to a small romantic balcony.
The guest room and left bed room both share the 2nd bathroom, which is accessible from the hallway upstairs.
There is a wonderful community pool with an even better view on to the sea - and I never had problems finding a place to lay down.
All in all, the community is very quiet, which I appreciated.

Close to Royal Palm are 2 Hotels where you can have good cocktails or use their beaches (if you don't want to use the local, public one - which I prefered). A beach club is also within walking distance (the pirats's nest) where you can join yoga or water gym classes on tuesday mornings (10NAF pP), hire under water scooters and SUP's - and eat great food.
