We want you to feel right at home in this cute and comfortable space for two. Located in a quiet neighborhood with off street parking and private entrance. The guest suite is located on the ground floor of our home.
The bedroom is super sweet - furnished with a queen size, very comfortable bed and soft blankets.
We also provide extra sheets & blankets if you'll be needing the sleeper sofa in the living room.
The kitchenette has everything you need including a french press, the most delicious coffee, and a variety of teas.
The bathroom is very spacious with large mirrors for getting ready to attend that local wedding, event, or just a night out in New Paltz.
And of course there's the beautiful outdoor patio.
Guests have access to the suite via a private entrance at the ground level of our house. Take advantage of the new patio for enjoying your morning coffee or evening glass of wine while you watch the sunset over the Shawangunk ridge. The guest suite is totally private and is your own space.
Neighbourhood Description
This is the best location in New Paltz. We are in a quiet, secluded neighborhood, but within a short walk to shops, restaurants and nightlife.
All of the best things to do in the Hudson Valley are easily accessible from our location. It's about a 20 minute drive to Mohonk Mountain House, Minnewaska State Park, the Mohonk Preserve, and Kingston.
Or, if you're without a car, you can walk or bike to the Rail Trail, or the new River-to-Ridge Trail.
The Trailways bus station is a short walk from the property, as well as other local transportation options available on Main Street. Also a quick ride from MetroNorth train station in Poughkeepsie via UCAT shuttle, uber or taxi.
We also highly recommend a bike rental for exploring the new River to Ridge trail, or just for riding around town.
Bike rental info is located inside the guest suite.
And New Paltz taxi will take you anywhere within city limits for $5.
