Forest Hills Lodge , is located 100m from Slane village, in a secluded private estate, with off road parking , king sized beds , all rooms ensuite.
For our guests arriving from the U,S.A, we’d like to bring your attention to the fact that the U.S. sizes beds differently. Our King Size beds measure 5 feet across by 6ft 6 inches long .
Your room , is in an attic conversion, therefore you can expect, in limited areas of the room ,the ceiling height is lower than head height. So please be careful not to bump your head until you’re familiar with your space ! We pride ourselves in high quality bedding for your comfort. All sheets have an average 800 thread count, and we provide seasonal feather duvets , so please alert us ahead of time if you are allergic to feathers! We will swap your duvet to an anti allergy one . All mattresses are memory foam to ensure you have a good sleep.
You will enter and exit through our family home . If you would like some quiet time in our lovely back garden, please let us know, and we’ll be happy to guide you through our kitchen to the garden area.

You have a choice of four pubs in the village, The Conygham Arms Hotel, Inside Out Restaurant and of course the famous Slane Castle and distillery, which has two bars, outside eating area, gift shop and Distillery.
Buses are available in the village, to head to the nearby towns of Navan, Drogheda, Dublin and Dundalk, or to continue further afield if you wish.
