Immerse yourself in Puerto Rican living when you stay in our family friendly community just 2 miles from Crash Boat Beach & walking distance to Las Cascadas Waterpark & Aguadilla's professional Baseball Stadium. We're 4 miles from Aguadilla's airport & less than 5 mins from the mall, grocery stores, & pueblo's seaside restaurants, bars, shops, & walking path with stunning sunset views. Our home is in a quiet cul-de-sac & is equipped for long-term travelers. Contact me for seasonal discounts.
Our property is just 5 minutes away from beautiful beaches and great restaurants. We are also 30 minutes from Gozalandia Waterfalls, Rincon's famous Thursday night Art Walk, and just 15 mins from a local cocoa farm (Hacienda JeanMaria Chocolat) and picturesque hiking trails at Survival Beach. A little further out but no more than an hour you can take a trip to the Parguera Bioluminescent Bay, visit our historic caves such as Cuevas de Camuy or Cuevas del Indio in Arecibo where they filmed Pirates of the Caribbean, check out the famous salt flats and lighthouse in Cabo Rojo, and so much more!
If you love animals, you're in luck! Wild roosters, chickens, chicks, lizards, birds, and stray cats are regular guests on the block. They are definitely part of the island life charm we appreciate. If crowing roosters bother you, earplugs at night do the trick. This is the tropics, so scattered rain showers followed by beaming sunshine is the norm--so are mosquitos, ants, and other bugs (Sorry, there's no escaping them critters!).
To watch the beautiful sunset overlooking the ocean, walk to the overpass bridge at the end of our street, or drive down the road on route 2 to the cliff top gazebo.
You get access to the entire place!
Neighbourhood Description
Aguadilla, Puerto Rico
We love our neighbors! Most have lived on this block for 40+ years so they know each other and the community very well. Stray neighborhood cats and wild roosters and chickens will often visit our property. Because most of our neighbors are elderly, most are in bed by 8p, so it's quiet (minus the roosters).
Renting a car is the best way to get around the island. Contact us if you are interested in hiring a personal driver.
