The property is in a private gated community called Vista Lapas. There are not many houses up here so it is relatively quiet with lots of wildlife and macaws that fly by daily! Toucans and monkeys can be seen regularly and the sunset is amazing whether it is over the water (most of high season) or has moved over the mountains.
We are on a private, deep water well so our water is excellent.
We are close to everything but around 350 feet above sea level. This allows for beautiful views but you really will be best with a car. There is a small market at the bottom of the hill on Calle Hermosa but the walk back will be no fun uphill.
