The space Step inside to discover an open concept living/dining area where natural light floods through the windows and French doors, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The spacious living room features a large sectional sofa and a large TV, perfect for movie nights or catching up on your favorite shows. Stay connected with Wi-Fi, ensuring you're always in touch with the outside world. If looking for a high-speed, always trustworthy connection, this may not be the place for you - unfortunately our only option is satellite, so if the sky isn’t clear, the Wi-Fi may not be either. There’s talk of fiber coming soon!
Prepare delicious meals in the expansive eat-in kitchen, fully equipped with all necessary appliances, cookware and utensils and ample counter space. Gather around the 10-seat dining table for meals with loved ones or take the conversation outside to the covered front porch or back deck, both offering picturesque views of the property.
Bedroom Retreats: • Master Bedroom: Rest comfortably on a plush queen-sized bed and enjoy an ensuite bathroom with a soaking tub. • Cozy Bedrooms: Two additional bedrooms with queen-sized beds. • Flexible Sleeping Options: One full-size futon, and one full-size pull-out couch.
Outdoor Bliss: Step into nature as you explore our sprawling 2-acre property. Roast marshmallows and share stories around the large firepit on starlit nights. Enjoy morning coffee on the covered front porch or grill up a feast on the back deck. The expansive grounds are perfect for picnics, games, and moments of pure relaxation.
Just a short 5-minute walk away, you'll find a boat dock, perfect for enjoying the water. For boating enthusiasts, the private-community boat ramp is less than a mile from the property. Wax Marina and Nolin Lake Lodge/Buoy's Restaurant are a short 10-minute drive or a scenic 15-minute pontoon ride away.
Please note: This is a countryside community with a wide variety of woodland creatures from deer and bunnies to turkey vultures and skunks and many types of tiny creatures. As well as bugs of all sorts. This is their habitat, and we have no control over who of these countryside dwellers might visit you while on your stay!
Our place is also very remote, so if you’re looking for something more suburban, this may not be your place - we’re about 35 minutes off the highway, and 20 minutes to the closest grocery store.
