The space Where you’ll be Witta, QLD, Australia
Our studio is secluded on our beautiful property in Witta, in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. This area offers the best of mountain walks, local shopping, and restaurants, and the beach is within an hour’s drive.
Lovingly repurposed, with its high ceiling and garden setting, its imaginative, uncluttered space invites you to simply hang out, inspire creativity, or relax after a day of adventuring.
Tastefully designed, the spacious open-concept studio has everything to make you feel right at home, including a full kitchen where you can cook up a storm and have fun around the large kitchen table. It has a fridge/freezer, 4 burner gas cooktop, electric oven, and all the pots, pans, utensils, plates, glasses and cutlery you may need during your stay.
The sitting area has 2 comfy sofas and a smart high-definition TV (with Netflix), offering a cosy spot to enjoy a drink or a game of cards. The bedroom area has a luxurious queen-sized bed and plenty of reading materials before lights are out. The spacious bathroom also hosts a closet and dressing area.
The French doors open into a beautiful, secluded outdoor gazebo complete with a Weber BBQ and brazier for chilly evenings. It's the perfect place to enjoy a meal, read a book, or sun yourself.
If you’ve come to work, you'll need to stay connected. Enjoy our high-speed Starlink connection with unlimited data, with a dedicated workspace.
It's only a 3-minute drive from The Nest, a local cafe that also offers delicious pizzas on Fridays and weekends, with a wine bar next door. Just 10 minutes drive from the nearest local town, Maleny, which has a great pub, restaurants, cafes, gift shops, pharmacy, butcher shop, and a wonderful IGA!
Guest access You will have exclusive access to the Witta Studio and the area bounded by the fences. Guests can access the studio from the main entrance to the property with dedicated parking. The private entrance via a small gate leads down a short path, past the orchard, to the property.
Other things to note The Sunshine Coast Hinterland is an amazing part of QLD, less than a 2-hour drive from Brisbane or Brisbane Airport and less than 90 min from Sunshine Coast Airport. For those who love the sea, there is easy access to the swimming and surfing beaches stretching from Noosa to Caloundra.
The area is also famous for its Great Walks in the pristine rainforest, which includes kilometers of bushwalking, waterfalls, creeks, and wildlife, not to mention stunning lookouts over the Glasshouse mountains.
Dotted around are many communities, including our own Maleny (and Montville) with their eclectic gift shops, cafés, restaurants, and cheeses—even boasting a couple of wineries and, for those who love beer, our local craft brewery, Brouhaha. Eating out is never a problem with local restaurants offering Italian, Vietnamese, Thai, and German cuisines. We also have a couple of Spicer’s restaurants in the vicinity!
The closest bushwalk is just up the road, a 12 km round trip into the state forest. A gentle way to break in the walking boots without getting behind the wheel.
