The space The open plan great room features vaulted ceilings, vintage pendant lighting, floor to ceiling windows, modern furnishings and a smart television. An efficient stand-alone wood burner provides instant ambience, aesthetic and warmth.
Sliding glass doors provide flow between the great room and two tier exterior deck, bustling with bird-life, offering unencumbered water and landscape views over Kaitoke inlet onto Mount Karioi.
The bedroom area is comfortable with a firm queen sized bed, cotton sheets, down/feather duvet, electric blanket and quality pillows. A spacious wardrobe with shelving and a hanging rail helps de-clutter. Linen fees are included.
A modern kitchen with macrocarpa bench tops, custom cabinets and built in appliances provides an option to dine in. There’s a modern oven, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher in addition to cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee making facilities.
The bathroom features a classic subway tiled shower with a marble, hexagonal shaped tile base. A vintage oak cabinet with cut stone top has been repurposed, serving as the bathroom vanity. A heated exterior shower, set in native bush is also available to rinse off before entering the Pavilion.
We encourage enquiries and offer discounted rates for weekly and monthly stays.🙂
Other things to note While we don’t advertise providing breakfast we do ensure that there is a basic continental breakfast (muesli, yogurt, milk, coffee, tea.) so you can linger in the morning and don’t feel like you have to rush out to get something to eat when you've only just arrived.
Once inside the Pavilion everything you need including the upper outdoor deck is on a single level suiting those who may have mobility issues.
Guests with electric vehicles are welcome to recharge at our residence. Please notify us of that intention in advance of arrival, we also ask that upon departure you leave a contribution to any additional expenses that we may have incurred to charge your vehicle. Please note the town of Raglan has multiple free public charging ports.
Finally we are on top of a hill, Raglan town is at the bottom of the hill. Its not Mount Everest but for those exploring on foot a modest amount of physical exertion will be required to get you back home again so plan accordingly. 🙂
