Nestled in the heart of the English countryside, Amberlea Japanese Tea House is a little slice of Japan, designed to bring you peace, tranquility, and a truly authentic experience.
The tea house itself is a warm and intimate retreat, featuring three thoughtfully designed rooms—a kitchen and dining area, a shower room, and a spacious bedroom/living area with traditional tatami mats and an open irori fire, perfect for cozy evenings.
For those looking to unwind further, our hot tub is set in a separate building on the land, offering a private space to soak while surrounded by nature .
If you’d like to immerse yourself in a full Japanese dining experience, we’d love to prepare something special for you. Whether it’s a delicate sushi platter, comforting ramen, or the subtle flavors of traditional Japanese tea, every meal is crafted with care.

The hot tub is located in a separate building on the property and is available by prior booking.
