Cozy Creek Side Cabin is tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Located right on a flowing creek, you can hear the water from each of the bedroom balconies. The main level porch has a hot tub to relax in! The cabins gated community offers; 2 pools, river tubing, fishing and many parks. While having the far away feel & scenery you are only 10 mins away from Historic Downtown Ellijay. The area is full of hiking trails, waterfalls, fishing, seasonal apple picking and white water rafting.
The space The common area has a dining table, fire place with sofas , TV and eating bar in the kitchen. The area has a wrap around deck with a grill and screen enclosed porch, which includes rocking chairs. A master suite is located on the 3rd floor with a private bathroom and balcony. The basement has its own living room with TV, bedroom and bathroom. This area also has a curtained off bunk room with bunk beds and toys for the kids. Feel free to tie the curtains together to open the space up! The hot tub is also located on the screened in basement porch.
Guest access Entire cabin and private driveway with plenty of parking. A walk through the yard to sit by the fire pit or creek. We’ve recently dug out a drainage system at the top of the property to help dry the yard up. You will see the incomplete work as we wait to finish the project, however there will be no issues to your stay.
Other things to note The pull out sofas are in the basement which also has a a TV and extra bedding can be found in the storage ottoman. We have laundry soap and cleaning supplies provided as well. Each bedroom has a dresser and extra pillows inside of them. We have hammocks on the shelf in the laundry room. When you grab them the ropes for 2 are already in the trees as you walk past the garden. We do 3 and make a triangle with them! Games can be found in the basement for at the cabin fun. A small fire pit and chairs are in the back yard and plenty of sticks to burn can be found all over the property.
The TVs are smart TVs so log into your own accounts and be sure to log out before you go!
A very important thing to note, if anything is to go wrong such as internet service is disrupted, a plumbing issue, power outage, ect… please contact me immediately so I can contact a provider. We know this can be a major inconvenience however most service industries do not work on the weekends. I will work diligently to get any issue resolved.
Neighbourhood Description
Historic Downtown Ellijay has lots of great small shops and restaurants. It’s a great place to spend your morning or afternoon. Grocery stores and restaurants are 10 minutes from the cabin. Recreation Center with pool and gym are a 10 minute drive through the community. Riverside pool is open seasonally and is 7 mins away.
*** Plan ahead! To use the amenities such pool, gym and rec center please let me know so I can leave access cards out for you. If a card is lost it is $75 to replace a card, no exceptions! Each amenity card gives 4 people access and we provide 2 cards for a $20 fee per card, (if you’d like one card, you can get 4 people in for $20, 2 cards gets in 8 for $40). The cards can be used at any point during your vacation. If additional cards are needed to be picked up you will need to do so from the POA office, these day passes are $59 for 4 people. The POA office is located at 634 Beaver Lake Dr and is open 9am-5pm Monday-Saturday. Please note that ages 14 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. *****
Coosawattee River Tubing is about 15 minutes. Please message me for tube drop off and pick up address, 2 vehicles and supplying your own tubes is necessary. Blue Ridge- 20 min Drive Apple Orchards and winery’s in every direction within 15 mins! White Water Rafting like our favorite, Rolling Thunder River Company are just 30 minutes.
