Walking distance to nature (provincial park, lake and ocean) and coffee and groceries shops, pharmacy, library, swimming pool, restaurants, bus to downtown. Five minutes drive from the highway. 20 min from airport. We are welcoming responsible travellers from outside of Metro Halifax area (locals will be declined).
The space Our lower level ("look-out" basement; "in-laws") guest room offers one bedroom, big window living room and modern three pieces private bathroom with shower all just for you (not shared with the host). There is a TV screen connected to a computer that can stream movies, chat, etc. Mini fridge, coffee/tea station, board games, tourist information brochures and bar are there for your relaxing times. No kitchen. The only space you will share with us is the main entryway. The Bedroom can be locked from inside for your privacy.
Guest access You can self-check-in as we have a smart lock. We share the house entry door. Free parking on the street.
During your stay We are always available on Phone, Text, Email and in person if needed. My wife and I are living in the home on upper levels.
Other things to note - Smoking on our property is prohibited. Smoking in the Halifax Region The Halifax Regional Municipality is prohibiting all smoking and vaping, including cannabis and tobacco, on all municipal property - including streets and sidewalks. Designated smoking areas will be clearly marked through smoking-permitted signs or stickers. Online map will show where to find existing designated smoking areas.

Neighbourhood Description
Quiet and safe cul-de-sac. A few minutes walk from 24/7 coffee and groceries shops, pharmacy, library, swimming pool, restaurants, bus to downtown. Five minutes drive from the highway. 10 minutes drive to downtown. Close to nature - few minutes walk to Long Lake provincial park and a few minutes drive from Point Pleasant Park and ocean. You can rent paddle-board or kayak from the Long Lake renting place (5min walk). Just a few minutes drive from yacht clubs at West Arm and Purcells Cove fishermen village. The Crystal Crescent Beach, one of the best in North America, is 25 minutes away. As well the Peggys Cove is just 40 minutes drive.
