Retro and cool, The Ski House is a classic A-Frame in Massanutten Resort, VA, located inside the gates close to all activities and offering classic retro mid-century decor! But we have not forgotten modern conveniences... internet, hot tub, flat screen TV with Netflix and Peacock, DVD player, dishwasher, washer/dryer, heat and air conditioning, hairdryer, iron, huge hot tub, and a Weber grill are all included. 4 bdrms 3 baths, sleeps 8-9.
The space
Main level offers a great room, kitchen, and an adjustable dining area that seats 8. Outdoor amenities include hot tub and Weber gas grill (propane provided). It's a perfect way to end a day of skiing or golf!
The kitchen boasts anything a chef could need - Keurig, drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, microwave, and more. And we make it easy: house includes all the “under the kitchen sink” necessities. We keep stocked for our guests: dish soap, scrubbies/sponges, dishwasher detergent, dish towels, paper towels, napkins, trash bags, coffee filters, tin foil, saran wrap, cooking spray, salt/pepper, toilet paper, and laundry detergent.
Sleeping for 8. Two main level masters with their own adjoining baths - one king and one queen. Upstairs queen with adjoining pyramid bunk room and 3rd bathroom.
**Note! You access the upstairs queen room by walking through the bunk room. The bathroom is in the bunk room.**
This sleeping configuration makes it a perfect set up for 3 couples - all have a private bath. Alternatively, it works great for 2 families - adults downstairs in the two masters and kids upstairs in 2 bedrooms. The beds are all made up with fresh linens and ready for you - we take these extra steps to make your stay be the best it can be! Bath towels (one per registered guest) are included. Bring hot tub towels if needed.
The community pool is open Memorial Day through Labor Day weekends. It is a lovely pool with diving board, lounging space and snack bar. The Ice Cream stand is also there. Bring pool towels.
The Ski House is the perfect vacation home. We do not rely on a management company with lots of homes, instead we choose to manage it ourselves. We are locals and visit weekly to make sure things remain fresh and in top-notch condition. Come enjoy our little slice of paradise at Massanutten!
HOUSE RULES
-No smoking in the home.
-Must be 21 years old to rent.
-Quiet Hours are between 10pm and 7am.
-All cars must be parked on our property with all 4 tires off the roadway to allow for emergency vehicles. RVs are not allowed.
-Do not place trash anywhere outside the house, including on screened porches to avoid attracting wildlife.
-No glitter, confetti, or taping to walls permitted.
-No events, parties or gatherings to exceed house occupancy (8).
-Photo ID may be required upon check-in
