Outside you can enjoy swimming in our tropical, saltwater pool, lay in the hammocks under the shady, mossy oak trees (seasonal), or feed the fish and turtles in our stocked pond. Enjoy complimentary coffee outside on your private deck or at the relaxing poolside. This cottage includes: a small kitchenette for cooking, a whole house water filtration system for clean drinking water, full size oven stove top range, full size refrigerator/freezer with ice maker, sink, microwave, pots, pans, breakfast bar, cozy family room with a dual “reclining” love seat, fast wifi, 42" smart TV with Roku for streaming movies and shows, basic tv cable, small bathroom with a step in shower, and separate bedroom with comfortable queen size pillow-top platform bed (safety weight limit 450 pounds), a desk for working or makeup, a tall dresser, and an armoire for hanging clothes. The space has everything you will need to make your stay comfortable. We are your hosts and we live in the main house. The pool may be shared with one to two other studio guests at times. We are sometimes at work or traveling so you we may not get to meet you, but we're available via cell phone or messaging if you need any assistance. Motion lights will turn on if it is dark when you arrive. Remote self check. A keyless entry eliminates the need for a key and provides you access 24/7 during your stay. We will provide you with the keyless door access code via check-in instructions to be sent to you through the Airbnb messaging system the morning of your arrival. Late check-ins are easy, as you can arrive and settle in anytime late at night up to 11:00 pm, or later with prior notice. We do have recorded audio/video surveillance at all times outside the rental located in front right upper corner of the garage for ours and our guest’s safety. We also receive security camera motion notifications for anyone entering our driveway gate. This helps us protect our property, our guests, and also informs us that you made it here safely if a late check in. Because we live here full time, You must notify us regarding anyone who will step foot on this private property. A maximum of two registered guests are allowed at maximum occupancy. Your stay will be peaceful and quiet, as the cottage apartment is located on a quiet, country road on our two acre residence. It is separated from the main house by the inground swimming pool. You will wake up to birds, butterflies, and sometimes breezes. We live in a very safe, family rural neighborhood. No constant heavy traffic, airplanes, trains etc. We are within a few miles to the conveniences of Kennedy Space Center, beaches, shopping and eateries, so don't be fooled by the country setting. This is a safe, clean, rural area and we have lived in the area for over 45 years. Let me know if you’d like to take the bikes out. Ride the bicycles down some of our local back roads, and visit Historical Sam's House, shady North Tropical Trail and Manatee Cove county park. Manatee Cove park is a great place to see manatees, tarpon, gators, birds and kayak and tours are available locally. Or, feel free to just hang out at your tropical cottage or relax and sip drinks and lounge by the inground free form swimming pool! If you want to venture to the beach, feel free to borrow the beach umbrella and beach chairs and also the complimentary beach bag with towels and sunscreen. The chairs and umbrella are under your stairs. The towels and beach bag are in the bedroom armoire.
