The lake features a diverse ecosystem, so please be aware of the mayflies if you are considering a booking in May. Take a ride down the canals and admire the local Alligators in their natural habitat. Please note it is critical policy and against state laws to feed the gators. Explore Lake Waccamaw State Park or visit the Cape Fear Winery nearby or stay in and pick up some fresh local seafood and enjoy a low country boil using the provided stock pot.

Other things to note We want your entire family including your furry friends to have a wonderful stay! Our residence is pet friendly. Please know pets stay in this home occasionally. The deposit for pet fee is 75$ for up to 2 pets. After 2 pets it is an additional 50$ upon request/review per booking. Please use baby gates to keep pets off the carpet and downstairs only and pick up any feces from the lawn. Any indoor pet excrimate will be subject to a 100$ a pet fee.
