The Studio is at the front our architect designed residence. It has a loft net over the living area and is accessed by spiral stairs. The lower living area has a fireplace with large deck overlooking the garden. We live quietly in a separate part of the building. It is tastefully decorated reminding you that you are in the Blue Mountains. The space In amongst the trees, The Studio has a unique large loft net and mezzanine space, perfect for resting, reading, relaxing and connecting. It also has an extra single couch/bed in this area. There are two more separate rooms, 1 upstairs off the mezzanine and 1 downstairs, each with their own bathroom. A Kitchenette provides space to making hot chocolate tea and coffee. The lounge room downstairs and the loft net upstairs both look out into the trees. The front deck gives lovely northerly sun and chairs for star gazing at night. We are a 2 min drive to Leura Village and the adventures beyond. Many walking tracks start nearby. Also a short walk to the Fairmont resort, Leura Golf Club, Sublime Point and the Grand Cliff top walk. Situated in a quiet residential street, the studio offers a north facing deck for lounging and enjoying the garden. It has a push button start/stop gas log fireplace for winter and AC for summer. All new amenities including remote controlled skylight, deck sun awning, big ass fan and benefiting from double glazing and energy efficient construction. Technology includes WiFi, TV with sound bar, Apple TV with Netflix, Stan & Disney for nights and rainy days in.
Guest access If we aren’t around to leave the keys ready for you they will be in the lock box to the side of the Studio on the wall just in the side passage to the right side as you look at the large glass sliding doors. We will give the code if needed. We love to get questions from guests to help them settle in and give local tips. However guests are left to feel very private and unless necessary we won’t need to meet guests.
Other things to note The property has several features that make it unsuitable for children below the age of 12. We ask you to take this into account when booking and we will share our safety concerns so you are aware. The studio only offers limited cooking facilities as it is just a Kitchenette with no extraction fan (please avoid cooking with fresh garlic). If you would like to eat in, it is best suited to bringing you own pre-cooked meals for reheating or Leura Deli has tasty home style meals for a reasonable price. There is ample free street parking at the curb at the front of the property. Please keep driveway clear at all times. The sun awning is not to be used in the rain or wind. It must be retracted at night after use. If there is a fifth person please let us know so we will leave extra blankets and pillows. The lounge bed in the mezzanine can be made up in advance or you can use the bedding if you require a separate sleeping arrangement, just let us know in the booking message.. Also due to cleaning and property maintenance we do ask you to respect strict check in at 3pm and check out at 10am. Much appreciated.
