Spacious self contained loft apartment, with own entrance above a grade 2 listed farm house. We have an indoor endless swimming pool and hot tub. It is used by our family and the other two person guest property at the farm. You will have private use but it is not exclusive use. Walking straight from the door, 1 1/2 mile walk from the picturesque village of Cartmel. Famous for Races, Cartmel sticky toffee pudding, 4 pubs, two Michelin stared restaurants , Or just snuggle up next to a wood fire. The space Electric charging point for cars. Own parking space for vehicle. Guest access Private access from the parking space through a gate to steps up to the appartment. As seen in the picture. Other things to note We often have people with bikes to stay. We can offer free wash down and secure storage facilities for bikes. We have stables, an 20x40 meter sand ménage and all year turn out. A small selection of xc country which may be used if the ground conditions allow. All used at owners own risk. Cartmel, England, United Kingdom Cartmel is a foodie village. Two pubs, a wine snug, cheese and wine shop. Home to the famous Cartmel sticky toffee pudding, still made locally. 2 ** and a 1* Michelin restaurant, owner and run by Chef Simon Rogan Also the smallest race course in England. Approximately 8 race meeting a year, go to Cartmel race course to find out this years dates. Getting around Limited Public transport available from the village of Cartmel, one and a half miles away. The local railway station is approximately 3 miles away in either Grange over Sands or Cark. Pre booking taxi is recommended if arriving by train to Grange over Sands or Cark. Local rural taxi s are available but limited in number ! ( walking back from the village in the evening is a way to get back , it's about a 35 minute walk but very dark so bring a torch! )
