The space This spacious, comfortable room sits within a fully renovated detached house, just 100 yards from South Park and within easy walking distance of the town centre and train station. AstraZeneca is around 10 minutes away by car, making it ideal for both business and leisure stays.
We bought the house twelve months ago and have completely refurbished it from top to bottom. The renovation is now complete, though a few small finishing touches remain. These won’t affect your stay. The garden is next on the list, with plans for a full revamp over the winter months. The property sits back from a main road. The room is at the front of the house, so some road noise may be heard, but it is very quiet during the late hours.
The room is furnished with a king-size bed, quality bedding, and designer touches throughout. You’ll have access to shared spaces including the modern kitchen, open-plan living area, and a dedicated home office.
In the room, you will find a refreshments tray and kettle. Enjoy a choice of chai, chamomile, English breakfast, Earl Grey, berry, lemon and ginger, and Taylors of Harrogate coffee bags. We have lots more teas available—let us know your favourites, and we’ll have them waiting for you.
Your welcome basket includes sweet popcorn, chocolate croissants, biscuits, bottles of spring water, bamboo toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a welcome candle—everything you need for a comfortable start to your stay.
You’ll also find a few of our exotic plants, including Philodendron Birkin, golden pothos, succulents, and a pineapple plant that is currently producing a new fruit! They are just a few of the 100 plants we care for full-time in the house. Many come from Oh Shoot! in Congleton, a brilliant shop for exotic and rare plants, where the lovely owner Nate also runs fun workshops.
The bathroom features a WC, over-bath shower, bathtub, and basin. It is private for single-night stays and shared for longer bookings, offering all the essentials for a comfortable visit.
Private parking is available on the drive, and the house has fast Wi-Fi throughout.
Two friendly dogs, Piper and Skylar, live downstairs. They don’t have access to the upstairs of the house but are always happy to say hello if you’d like to meet them.
