An open plan living, kitchen and dining area make Blackwood an ideal space for families or friends to relax
See our other listings for options if you are a smaller group or family only requiring 2 bedrooms/1 bathroom
Board games and cards are available for those quiet evenings in
We can accomodate children and infants and can provide a portable cot (pack'n'play) and linen and highchair ( by request at time of booking)
Children's toys and books are stored in a trunk in the bedroom to keep your little ones amused
A child safety gate is installed at the kitchen entrance ( for use if needed)
Guest access
You have use of the entire house during your stay ( including the laundry with washing machine and airer)
The keys are located in a lockbox onsite and your code to access these will be sent a couple of days prior to your stay
Please park vehicles on the left side of the house (following signs)
We do ask you to keep the driveway to the right of the house clear

Blackwood is centrally located, close to the northern tourist hub and walking distance to the Supermarket, Medical centre, Laundromat and numerous food and takeaway stores
It is also less than a 4km drive to Rotorua lakefront, city centre, Kuirau Park and popular Eatstreat where you'll find great restaurant options
Getting around
We are just 13km drive from Rotorua Regional Airport, 3.5km to Eatstreat and the city centre, 9km to Whakarewarewa Redwood Forest
There are several tourist attractions within 1km walking distance if you choose to leave the car parked at the house and explore on foot
Uber has not yet made it to Rotorua but there are two taxi companies
