Hank’s Hideaway is a charming 2-bedroom cabin located in the beautiful gated LAKE & GOLF RESORT community of Holly Lake Ranch deep in the piney woods of East TX.
Equipped with all your creature comforts for a relaxing stress-free getaway this cozy home allows guests the perfect setting for enjoying the quiet natural beauty of this picturesque lake resort where wildlife roam freely & tranquility abounds.
Guests have access to all resort amenities including lakes, pools, 18-hole golf course +more!
The space
Inside Hank's Hideaway, you will find a wood-burning fireplace that is perfect for cozy evenings indoors. The open-concept kitchen/dining/living room is great for preparing meals while visiting with your guests.
The fully appointed kitchen includes a full-sized refrigerator, electric range with a large oven and glass cook-top stove, microwave, and dishwasher as well as plenty of dishes, pans & cooking utensils. The coffee station includes a Keurig coffee machine with enough k-cups, creamers, and sweeteners to get your vacation off to the right start.
Both bedrooms have their own full en-suite bathrooms perfect for privacy and comfort and are supplied with all your necessary bed linens and towels for the convenience of a restful getaway.
These bedrooms include comfy beds, tons of pillows, large-screen TVs, and plenty of room to relax. The master bedroom has a queen bed and a nice view overlooking the backyard which many deer and other critters frequently visit. The guest bedroom has a queen bed plus an additional twin bed for extra sleeping space. Both full bathrooms have a tub/shower combo and all your basic toiletries in case you leave something behind.

The home is pretty private as it is surrounded by towering pine trees between us and any neighbors. The fully screened-in back patio with a propane fire pit table is a great spot to relax and watch the deer and other wildlife that roam throughout the neighborhood.
This is our favorite spot to sip a glass of wine in the evenings or have our morning coffee. Patio seats and fluffy blankets are provided!
Our cabin sits in a great location just inside the West Side entrance of Holly Lake Ranch. This gives guests easy access to resort amenities located on both East and West Sides of the community.
Hank's Hideaway is:
~ .8 miles from Holly Lake on the West Side which is a beautiful, serene lake perfect for fishing, swimming, kayaks or paddleboats
~ 1.2 miles from the boat dock at Lake Greenbriar on the East Side which is the main lake for boating, jet skis, watersports & fishing
*No fishing license required since our lakes are within a private community.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole home with exceptions to one bedroom closet, the garage and the outdoor storage shed which are all used for storing supplies.
Guests also have full access to resort amenities which include the golf course (with applicable green fees), 2 pool complexes, 2 lakes, activity center, pickle ball & tennis courts, disc golf, putt putt, shuffleboard, hiking trails, fitness center, dog park and playground. Your guest pass is needed for access to some amenities.
Other things to note
The Security Deposit is fully refundable as long as there are no damages or loss of contents of the home or any violation of the House Rules or Holly Lake Ranch regulations. The full details are listed in your Rental Agreement.
