This log home is ten minutes from downtown Bryson City with many restaurants and grocery stores. Also close to the Great Smoky Mountain Railroad, white water rafting, tubing, hiking, Harrah's in Cherokee, and the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The views are gorgeous. The road to the cabin is mostly paved but the last few minutes are graveled with a few steep areas. The driveway is also. You'll need at least a front wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. No motorcycles.
The space
This cabin is unique because the mountain views are amazing yet you are so close town. The location is perfect.
Other things to note
Winter months. Should a sudden snowstorm occur just before you arrive making the roads and driveway too hazardous for your arrival I will give you a full refund.
October through March is LADYBUG season. Although my housekeeper tries to keep up, you will see them in the house. There is no way to get rid of them and it affects rental cabins on both sides of the park, in Tennessee and North Carolina. There is a broom and dust buster at the home.
