Master bedroom has queen bed, dresser with large mirror, an armoire, 2 nightstands and closet; bdrm 2 has a daybed, a trundle bed, dresser with mirror and closet. Large backyard. All appliances new in the last 5 years including a dishwasher and standard size fridge. Front room contains dining area and 2nd sitting area with couch, rocking chair and shelves. Flat-screen TV with over 200 DVDs/books, DVD player and wireless internet- WIFI. Private access to Pamlico shared with the homes of the 6 neighbors. No cable TV, to keep your rental price more reasonable but there's free youtube and use your netflix. (See amenities) AND you have better things to do on vacation than watch TV haha! Clean, inviting, quaint, VERY well-stocked for your needs, a true "beach cottage" and a stout 1-story house that's been on the island for over 60 years and was once used as a community fallout shelter in bad storms. Come see!! P.S. The garage is in disrepair and not included in rental. I'm In the process of finding a carpenter for the massive job which will only take place in the winter off-season to avoid disturbing you my guests during your Hatteras Island vacation.

Neighbourhood Description
Buxton , North Carolina, United States
A neighborhood with spacious yards, comprised of just 6 houses. Across the street is a wonderful family business, who sell the freshest of uncooked seafood.
A short walk away (but driving is better in case of traffic) is Cafe Pamlico (house is also Pamlico Retreat but, no relation) with fine dining, spectacular views, and sometimes live music on the deck. Please note there's no beach out back by the Pamlico Sound. That's only good for water sports and pics. However the beach is a short 5 minute drive from the house, in either direction, water water everywhere!!
Getting around
If you need a ride there's the Island Hopper who'll drive you end to end of the island.
