Nudgee Beach, Queensland, Australia
It's a lovely and peaceful neighbourhood with minimal traffic, surrounded by extensive parklands, wetlands and bay. You can fish on hightide and walk the beach flats on low, explore the boardwalks or cycling and walking trails - there is plenty to do here if you want to get out and about and explore the area during your stay.
Being in a quieter area near bushland we do have some visiting wildlife, like possums (who sometimes appear on balcony/scurry across the roof at night; in the warmer months we have sandflies and mozzies on dawn & dusk (repellent + coils supplied).
