The property boasts a summer house with gas BBQ and garden furniture. The space Welcome to Rockmount Court! This is a gem of a property in Central Bournemouth, right next to the Marriott Hotel. The beach is two minutes walk away, theatre, BICC and town centre five minutes. There is reserved onsite parking for one car and a lovely private courtyard for outdoor dining and a summer house where you can relax even when it rains. Everything is on one level with no stairs, there’s even a ramp to the front door. As the flat is at the rear of a converted hotel there is no street noise even though you are in the middle of town. There is even a small grocery on the corner for all the things you have forgotten and a good pub across the road which serves food all day. The master bedroom has a king size bed with memory foam mattress and a choice of firm or medium soft pillows, beautiful en-suite shower room with power shower and there is plenty of space to set up the travel cot for the little one at the side of the bed. If you have to work there is a quiet corner with a desk, chair and good light. A large wardrobe with plenty of hanging space and shelves completes the picture. A twin room and a very comfortable double bed settee in the living room is the rest of the sleeping arrangements. The twin room has a bookcase full of books and games for rainy day activities. It also has large wardrobe with hanging space and shelves. Please note the other built in wardrobe is locked and private. The family shower room has just been refurbished with a huge walk in power shower with a rain head as well and if the decor doesn’t make you smile, well, I don’t know what will. All the duvets are anti allergy. The bed linen and towels are hotel standard and we offer eco friendly shower gel, shampoo and hand wash for our guests. The large, bright kitchen is fully equipped with combination microwave, large electric oven/grill and induction hob. The pots can all be used on the hob. Please don’t use any others. There is a dishwasher and combination washer/dryer but if the sun is shining the clothes can be dried outside on the retractable lines. There is also a coffee machine, bring your own pods, kettle and we supply tea, green and black, coffee and sugar. The kitchen/dining table can seat up to six if extended and that still leaves lots of space for the cook, the assistant cook and anyone else who wants to help. We do have a wipe clean tablecloth on the table. All the crockery and cutlery that six people will use is here and there is also a small blender and hand mixer if you want to get creative. Pots, pans, bowls, casseroles, baking trays, cooking utensils and even a garlic press. We are passionate cooks which reflects in the kitchen. It’s good to cook up a storm even on holiday. There is a selection of herbs, spices and sauces but if you have a favourite better bring it along. Little ones are catered for as well with a high chair, plastic beakers and plates and lots and lots of child cutlery. The sitting room has a four seater and three seater very comfortable settees. The three seater converts to a double bed very easily. To make it even more comfortable there is a mattress topper. The 55” smart TV has Netflix, Amazon Prime and all the catch up apps. There is a blue ray player and lots of music CDs for your listening pleasure. There is plenty of coffee tables and a footstool for your comfort and a fold away games table and chairs to build the many jigsaws on offer or play a few games of an evening. Have a look at the original art work. My very talented niece is the artist. And the freehand quilt was made by a very good friend. The colours inspired the decor in the sitting room. Outside, there is a garden furniture, a gas barbecue, patio heater and for lazy evenings a beautiful summer house equipped with a drinks fridge, chairs, table and a kettle. Please water my plants if they look thirsty. Oh, did I mention the chest full of everything that is needed for a day at the beach including a cool box to keep that lunch cold, or dads beer at just the correct temperature, and there is even a trolley to transport it all the few hundred metres to the beach. Our towels don’t like trips to the beach so please bring your own. Everything a family would need for a seaside holiday, someone visiting Bournemouth on business who prefers their own space or just a theatre visit. Dorset, England, United Kingdom Everything is on your doorstep! The beach is a few minutes walk away. If you feel lazy there is a lift that takes you down to the beach in high summer. But did you know Bournemouth is a fun place to visit anytime of the year. There is always something going on be it theatre, music concerts, pantomime or Winter Wonderland there’s enough to keep most people busy throughout the year. Any type of cuisine you can think of is available in central Bournemouth which is less than a mile away. We have a very good English pub which serves typical pub grub across the road, a Thai restaurant next door and an Italian and an Indian restaurant round the corner. There are more and more being added. I can’t keep up! The small grocery store on the corner stocks some Co-op brands and Asda, Tesco, Sainsbury and Waitrose all deliver. We are situated at the back of the building and hear very little noise. There is so much to see and do!
