About Oak Knoll Bungalow
Opting for a clean and uncluttered look, you’ll find this property equipped for the most discerning guests. With ceilings well over 9', the space feels open and airy. A fully equipped kitchen awaits with features including expansive granite countertops and plenty of open cabinet space as well as a breakfast table.
The living space displays works of original art to complement a contemporary décor with a hint of mid-century style. Colors are serene and neutral and comfort is the standard. Large windows flood the space with natural light.
With two bedrooms and a full bath, there’s space to accommodate 5 people. The primary bedroom features a king bed, comfortable bedding, and special touches like the brass dimmable wall sconces.
The second bedroom offers a queen platform bed as well as a modern daybed for larger families or an extra guest plus plenty of closet space for anything and everything.
The outdoor amenities are just as remarkable, with a large front porch offering both a lounge and dining area. The shady backyard features over-sized Adirondack chairs, perfect for an evening of relaxing and a glass of wine. The view from those chairs is absolutely lovely, with rolling hills and even a charming barn in sight.
Getting to Know Weaverville and Asheville
Conveniently situated near many of the area’s natural amenities, you’re literally walking distance from downtown Weaverville, and just a short drive to downtown Asheville. Waterfalls, hiking trails, and more abound with many recreation opportunities.
The town of Asheville is an artist’s and foodie's paradise, dotted with art galleries, boutiques, and restaurants. Craft beer, cocktails, and farm-to-table cuisine are the norm. Weaverville stands as a smaller version, with great places to eat, shop, or just wander.
Western North Carolina serves as the backdrop for the Blue Ridge Mountains. Nature lovers flock here, in equal parts lookers and do-ers. You’ll find all manner of explorers, from hikers to leaf peepers, and everything in-between.
Located off of Highway 26, Weaverville has long been considered one of the tiny treasures of the region. With a year-round population hovering somewhere around the 4,000 mark, Weaverville is located between Asheville and Mars Hill, and yet a world apart with its quiet and charming vibe.
What You Need to Know
We have created Oak Knoll for guests looking for a relaxing place to land during their travels to our area. For us, this means we cannot host travelers looking for a place to get-wild/partizzle/host-an-all-night-hootenany. If the former sounds like your kind of vacation, vs the latter, we can't wait to host you sometime in the near future.
