Situated on a ridge, just 860 metres inland from the boardwalk, this place provides a serene setting, yet is just a few minutes by car from two of the most popular beaches in Barbados. This picturesque, ridge side, 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom, spacious property is very private and located in a cul-de-sac within a quiet neighbourhood just off a traditional Barbadian setting. “Belvedere” as the home is called, means beautiful view (Italian), of which it can certainly boast. From the patio you are able to see right down to the South Point lighthouse, 8 km’s away. The home, pool and carport measure approximately 4,600 sq.ft. and the lot sits on 14,960 sq.ft. of land. This home was newly decorated and refurbished in 2022 and has much to offer. Upon entering, one is welcomed into a cool wrought ironed terrace and towards the South, one ventures into the foyer with a feature floor tile effect. The internal foyer allows access to all areas of the house. Turn towards the South Eastern wing and you will find 3 of the 4 bedrooms. The first to meet you is a single bedroom with built in closet. The kitchen hosts a feature island, fridge freezer, oven, stove and lots of amenities to make your stay feel like it’s a home from home. The lounge has a 50” smart TV, with seating for 7 people, lovely artwork and an a/c unit. The lounge is also seamlessly connected to the dining area with hand built table and seating for 8. From the dining room, go down a few steps and you venture into a great outdoor covered space, fantastic for entertaining or casual dining. From the covered space, take a few more steps and the whole south east coast opens up before your eyes. This is definitely the WOW moment. This space has seven sun loungers and a dining table that is perfect for a morning coffee as the sun rises and maybe a cocktail or two as the sun sets. The large grounds to each side of the patio and the views all add to the wonderful atmosphere. The infinity edge heated pool is also perfectly positioned off this area, great to relax in and enjoy the surrounding gardens and stunning view. Back inside and, from the kitchen, one-step up takes you into the laundry area, with washing machine, dryer, utility sink and more storage space. Down the northern corridor is another full bathroom with shower, toilet and storage area. Towards the East of the property another large bedroom with two twin beds (which can be made into a king), lots of storage and a/c unit. Out to the front to the property is the two car, carport with lots of space for more cars if needed. Other things to note As the property sits on a ridge there is a small wall to the bottom of the garden. Guests with little ones may need to keep an eye on them to ensure they do not climb or walk on the wall.

Bridgetown, Christ Church, Barbados The property sits at the end of a private road in a quiet area. The rear patio overlooks the area of Navy Gardens and Hastings. Getting around I would suggest you hire a car if renting Belvedere. You can walk to the beach in 15-20 minutes but there’s so much to do on the island and you don’t want to restrict yourself to activities within walking distances.
