-Hike to Alarka Falls just 2 miles away or head to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park Deep Creek and enjoy miles of trails
-Rent a boat and explore the majestic emerald-green waters of Lake Fontana
-Enjoy a train ride on the historic Great Smoky Mountain Railroad
-Head into Bryson City to enjoy some gift shopping on the main strip or grab some food or a drink at the local diners and bars!

Downtown Bryson City has an elevation of 1,752 feet, so think of this as a starting point. The majority of the cabins in the area will have a higher elevation than this. This means that these roads will be steeper, narrower, and curvier than you may be use to driving. Also, you should expect to encounter gravel roads. Consider it part of our rural mountain charm!
The last half mile to the cabin has a narrow, gravel road.
There are 2 security cameras on the property. The first one is over the front porch and the second is on the Pond Overlook. They are there for the protection of the property while unoccupied and to monitor the health and safety of the fish in the pond.
