Rest and recharge at the Lodge, on our small family farm. It is a two-bedroom house with all the amenities and comforts of home. You won’t forget the peaceful surroundings or the stunning sunsets over the Kaimai's. It is semi-rural yet close to local shops, cafes, and restaurants. In the morning, you will be greeted with bird song and the rustle of farm animals. You may also catch a glimpse of our house cow, off to her morning and evening milking.
The space Serenity Farm Lodge provides all the amenities and comforts for a relaxing stay. Ideal for couples, families, or solo travellers seeking serenity, adventure, and rest.
The Lodge provides a full kitchen with a gas hob, oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, a selection of tea, a coffee plunger with coffee, and a Nespresso pod coffee machine with pods. We also provide fresh milk, eggs, and a loaf of sourdough bread for a farm-style breakfast.
A washer and dryer are provided for your use.
Smart TV with Soundbar, Netflix, YouTube, and wifi is available.
There are two comfortable bedrooms. One features a Queen bed and the other 2 King Single beds. There are extra blankets provided.
The Lodge has a lovely fireplace, with firewood provided, to keep you warm on those cold winter nights.
The spacious bathroom provides bath towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. Beach towels are also provided for the spa pool, a dip at McLaren Falls, or a trip to the beach.
Enjoy the Spa Pool after a big day out and/or spend the afternoon soaking with a good book and a glass of wine. The spa pool has minerals added, which leaves your skin feeling so soft!
A BBQ is provided for your grilling needs.
There is an easy walk along Ruahihi Canal to McLaren Falls Park. It is about 30-45min one way. McLaren Falls Park offers the Falls Cafe, trout fishing, kayaking, trail walks, glow worms, a waterfall, frisbee golf, and Marshals Animal Park. Something for everyone.
Serenity Farm Lodge sleeps four people, but babies (0-2yrs) can also be accommodated. We can provide a portacot if needed. Please let us know before your arrival.
Guest access Guests have full and exclusive access to the Lodge, Spa Pool, and BBQ.
Please note that the Lodge is not fully fenced. We don't mind children, but ask that parents know where their child/children are at all times. We are a working farm with animals, gates, and machinery.
If you would like to visit the chickens or watch the cow being milked, please let us know. We are happy to accommodate.
Other things to note Please note that we have a guard dog named KD. She loves to bark at new people. We will do our best to keep her on our side of the property, but if she is bothering you, please tell her to go home and let us know.
