Explore the beautiful Redwood Coast from our cabin nestled on 2.5 acres of redwood forest. Centrally located minutes from town, beaches, and Cal Poly Humboldt. Wake up to breathtaking views from walls of windows that reach all the way to vaulted pine ceilings. Take a morning stroll along our property's winding paths, or spark some friendly competition in our game room. Spend your evenings soaking in the hot tub, or sharing stories around the firepit.
Neighbourhood Description
Eureka is the heart of the U.S. Redwood Coast. Eureka is the market and cultural center of a beautiful region filled with iconic redwoods, the world’s tallest trees, and stunningly beautiful rugged remote ocean landscapes.
Culturally protected by the ‘Redwood Curtain,’ the city is most famous for its unique Victorian architecture, creative artistic culture, one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, and artisanal businesses.
Monica and I have been exploring the Redwood Coast for 30 years. We still stare out the windows at the beauty of the redwood forest surrounding our property. Though it feels very remote, in the space of 2 miles you go from the suburbs of Eureka, through the pastureland of Ryan Slough, passed large rural properties and into the wooded hills where the cabin sits on 2.5 acres.
The closest grocer is 7 minutes from the cabin. Every amenity is under a 15 minute drive. Our neighborhood has a wonderful balance of seclusion and access to all the beauty and culture that Humboldt has to offer.
