The space
Plum Place is located in a very safe, tranquil, peaceful, quiet and modern neighborhood with sidewalks and free, easy street parking.
The bedroom is fully furnished with a twin-sized bed, nightstand and lamp, desk, chair, three-drawer dresser, floor lamp, full-length mirror, 28.5” flat screen TV (Netflix), and a very large closet with hangers, and a closet shelf organizer. The bedroom window overlooks a beautiful backyard with outdoor patio furniture and lots of fruit trees (peaches, plums, lemons, cherries, etc.).
The living room has a 48 inch flat screen TV, DVD player, two comfortable chairs, a rocking chair, and a full-length mirror. There is room for one additional woman to sleep in the living room. I can provide a twin size futon mattress, sheets, blanket, pillow and a Japanese folding screen for privacy. Two guinea pigs live in a cage in the living room, but are super quiet. They should not be disturbed because they are extremely shy. There is an additional guest charge of $25 per night (one woman can sleep in the living room on a twin-size futon mattress).
The dining room comes equipped with a table for four overlooking the garden. There is a refrigerator, freezer, microwave oven, dishwasher, four burner electric range, oven, garbage disposal and reverse osmosis water. Please wash all your dirty dishes, pots, pans, etc. after you finish your meal and before leaving the house so others can use the kitchen. Clorox wipes are kept in the cabinet underneath the sink to wipe down all common areas. The wipes can be thrown out into the silver trash bin right outside the living room on the deck.
Complimentary fruit provided on the first day of your arrival. Guests may use kitchen to store some food items in the refrigerator and freezer. The microwave oven is available for heating up food. Please do not use the dishwasher unless it is completely full and wipe down all common area surfaces after use with the Clorox wipes which are underneath the kitchen sink.
Please park in front of the house near the stone pathway so my other housemate can park her car in front of the mailbox. Thank you.
Please turn off the alarm before removing your shoes and lock the front door. Before exiting the house, please turn on the alarm and make sure you lock the front door right after you exit the house using the blue key.

It is only seven minutes away from the Martinez Amtrak train station and downtown Martinez. Concord and Pleasant Hill are only 12 to 15 minutes away by car.
