Luxuriate in the well-appointed king size bed made with the famous "Comphy" sheets used in Boutique Hotels and Spas throughout the US., and let the hot water sooth you in the serene modern shower. Order in or cook up a delicious meal in the brand-new full kitchen with gas cook top and stove, microwave, full size refrigerator, dishwasher, air fryer, and a single serving coffee maker with coffee, tea, sugar/stevia, and creamer. Play games, watch a movie or just daydream in the spacious living and dining area.
This unit is a newly built, custom designed, ground-level, 800 square foot, 1-bedroom suite attached to a single-family home but completely separated with no shared spaces and has a private entrance. There is a king size bed in the single bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, comfortable sleeping for up to four people. The private deck has gorgeous, panoramic city and national forest mountain views with a gas fire pit to warm you on the cool mountain evenings. Have lunch on the private patio table, relax on the porch swing and hanging chair, or grill a meal on the gas grill. Enjoy exclusive hiking on the 40 acres to the creek and into the national forest bordering the property!
Guest access Guests have private access to the 800 square foot condo, outdoor spaces-including private deck with fire pit, private patio with swing and grill, hiking trails on the property and national forest. This condo is attached a a single family home and shares a wall with the home but all spaces in the condo are private for the guest, there are no shared spaces.
Other things to note Access to the property includes a 3/4 mile unpaved road that can be bumpy at times. In the winter if snow is on the ground an all wheel drive car is necessary. The walk ways can have snow or ice, be careful entering the property. This is a unique, one of a kind mountain property, so expect an adventure! The hosts live in the attached house but you have your own private and separate condo. Close to I-25 (8 minutes), the Air Force Academy (12 minutes to the north gate), the newly built Northgate area with Top Golf, Dart Wars, I Fly, Overdrive Go Carts, and high-end restaurants and bars. A short drive to Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak. The best of both worlds...a quiet retreat with easy access to everything you want to experience in Colorado Springs. Early check in is available when possible (depending on housekeeper's schedule and if a guest is checking out the same day) for an additional fee.
