Sunset Road Trailer is a completely remodeled vintage travel trailer with a hot tub, just 15 minutes from the west entrance of Joshua Tree National Park in Joshua Tree, CA. We have designed this home so that our guests can unplug and relax while enjoying all the modern amenities. Enjoy the spectacular sunrises and sunsets from the expansive deck and relax in the hot tub at night surrounded by open desert views, wildlife, and a starry, starry sky.

The Sunset Road Trailer is a 1986 Holiday Rambler travel trailer that we have painstakingly and lovingly renovated so it has every modern amenity for you to enjoy. It sits on 5 gorgeous acres which you can explore during your visit. You must drive a couple of unpaved roads to access the house but no visitor has had a issue so far, Prius included!
Local residents include rabbits, roadrunners, turtles, coyotes and all manner of desert creatures. Our favorite thing about the property is that it truly feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. Check in and tune out :)
The trailer is about a 12 minute drive to downtown Joshua Tree (fun shops, restaurants & bars) and a 15 minute drive to the Joshua Tree National Park Visitors Center at the west entrance of the park. In addition to hiking, we are close to the renowned Integratron (a healing sound bath experience) or enjoy a tour of the Gubler Orchid Farm. If you are looking for a little action, head on over to Pioneertown (25 min drive) and visit the Old West movie set before dinner and drinks at the famous music venue, Pappy & Harriet's . You might even get lucky and see The Rolling Stones do a set!
At the trailer you can hike, play horseshoes, watch Netflix... or just lie on the gravity chairs, looking out at the expansive desert by day and/or soaking in the hot tub at night under a blanket of stars.
The space and surrounding land is all yours! Please don't venture on to our neighbor's property but there is plenty to explore right out our front door.

Local taxis and a few Ubers/Lyfts are available. The trailer is on a graded sand road but is only a short drive off the main, paved road and no guest has ever had difficulty managing it. There is plenty of on-site parking!
